Game Details

1815 N. Hudson

Built in 1918 by G.A. 'Doc' Nichols who lived in the home with his wife, Alma, and their 3 daughters.

In 1933 Nichols sold the home to oilman Powell Briscoe. Previously, in 1930, Briscoe and business partner F.C. Hall had hired Wiley Post as a private pilot. Hall had purchased a single-engine Lockheed Vega and named it the Winnie Mae after his daughter. On June 23, 1931, Post and his navigator, Harold Gatty, took off in the Winnie Mae from Roosevelt Field on Long Island for a trip around the world.
