Game Details

On July 22, 1933, oilman Charles Urschel and his wife Berenice were playing cards with friends when Charles was kidnapped at gunpoint by notorious gangster Machine Gun Kelly and taken to a hideout in Texas. Urschel was freed after his family paid a $200,000 ransom. Kelly was captured and spent the rest of his life in prison.

Grayce & Robert S. Kerr later moved in the home in 1946. Robert S. Kerr had served as the 12th Governor of Oklahoma and was a three term US Senator from 1948-1963.
