This home was built by G.A. Nichols and completed in the fall of 1919. The home encompasses the basic floor plan of many of Nichols's Craftsman two-story bungalows, but includes distinct features such as exposed rafter tails, a low-pitched gable entryway and broad front porch. It was originally built as the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur N. Leecraft. Arthur was Oklahoma's State Treasurer. The Leecrafts remained in the home until 1925.

The house received a Fine Home Award in 1987 after undergoing major renovations by prior owners, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stanin. After purchasing the home in 2006, Cherish and Matt Ralls immediately set about restoring the landscape of their large corner lot, for which they received a Fine Home Award in 2007. Since then, Matt and Cherish grew to a family of five and renovated the home from basement to attic, including adding support walls and structure, new electrical, plumbing, dual HVAC, and a sump pump.

In addition to these behind-the-walls renovations, they renovated every room in the house including a downstairs bedroom they used as a playroom and office, the kitchen, as well as 3.5 bathrooms. The Ralls successfully maintained the historical integrity of the home and added modern conveniences in order to support their family of five. They featured their home on the 2023 Historic Home Tour.
