Mabel and Dr. Eduardo F. DeMeglio purchased this home built by GA Nichols home in August 1919. According to his autobiographical sketch published in 1921, Eduardo was born to Italian parents in Vienna, Austria in 1883. He attended the University of Vienna and graduated with a medical degree in 1903. In St. Petersburg, Russia, he studied the violin and played in the Court of Czar Nicholas II. DeMeglio then joined the Russian Army, played violin with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and became director of music at Earl Court Exhibition in England.

In 1905 he became a surgeon in the English Navy, but resigned to live in Argentina, where he became director of the Buenos Aires Symphony Orchestra. A year later he came to the United States where he met Mabel. They moved to Oklahoma City to establish his medical practice. When they moved into the home on 19th, they had two children, Margareta, age 9, and Eduardo, age 6. They remained until 1924.

In 1973, after changing hands several times, the home was purchased by Judy and  Dr. Paul F. Lambert, who combined the kitchen and breakfast rooms, and remodeled the entire house.
