Nichols moved a crew onto this site in September of 1919 and started work on a two-story Colonial Revival home that featured a stucco finish and unusual decorative arches above the first floor windows. The first owners were Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Fowler. Fowler, president of O.C. Fowler and Cotton Company, remained until 1932.
