Mrs. Edith Riggan built this Colonial Revival home in 1920. Edith was the widow of Simon Riggan.

The house was typical of the Colonial Revival homes filling the neighborhood, but it also incorporated a few features of the newly popular bungalow style such as exposed rafter tails and brackets under the gable eaves.
