History

Nichols and his architects were adept at creating visual variety with their basic Colonial Revival floorplans. Here, in 1920 they compromised the vertical emphasis of the design with extended eaves, broad, shallow gables, and segmented roof lines. The result was a horizontal look similar to many of the bungalows rising in the neighborhood.
