This two-story contemporary home is unlike the others on the block. It was constructed in 1952 as a parsonage for the minister of St. Luke’s Methodist Church, carved from lots that had formerly been part of the Girvin property at 409 NW 18th.

The first occupants were the Reverend and Mrs. William McFerrin Stowe. Reverend Stowe was pastor at St. Luke's for thirteen years, during which time he wrote several books and led the congregation in building a new $1 million sanctuary. In 1960, when the church moved the parsonage to another house in the neighborhood, the home at 415 NW 18th was sold to Mary and Cleeta John Rogers. Mr. Rogers, an attorney, had already served eight years in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and would go on to serve several terms in the Oklahoma Senate and make an unsuccessful run for governor in 1966. They had three children, Rosemary, Rand and Rodman.
