One of the first homes on the block was this two-story Colonial Revival, constructed by G.A. Nichols in the winter of 1919. Distinguishing features include matched porticos on either end of the front, extremely wide eaves, and an arched dormer on the roof. The first owners were Mr. and Mrs. Ira Mitchell. He was president of Mitchell-Bowers and Co., a cotton buying firm headquartered in Oklahoma City.
