Another developer who recognized the potential of these northern streets was C.D. Zieglar, who bought this lot, took out a building permit for $8,000, and started work on a two-story frame home. Typically, it is an eclectic design, a mixture of Colonial Revival form with the strong horizontal lines of Frank Lloyd Wright.

An example of the American Four-Square floor plan, this home boasts several aspects of the early twentieth century arts and crafts movement, including the mission-style staircase and the unique repetitive style of the windowpanes.

The completed home was sold to George Niemczyk, a native of Indiana who was transferred to Oklahoma City to open the Oklahoma Furniture Manufacturing Company. His widow, Emma, lived in the home until 1950.

Built with oak flooring throughout, Mr. and Mrs. Kerr purchased the home and renovated the kitchen in 1990 and added the downstairs bath. A redwood deck was also added. The Kerrs decorated their home with the artwork of several Oklahoma artists, including Bert and Connie Seabourne, Joan Marron and Mitsuno Reedy. The Kerrs featured the home on the 1991 Home Tour.
