Originally, this two-story bungalow built in 1919 had a broad front porch and three staggered gables that provided a sense of depth and motion. The front of the house has since been altered, with the entryway moved to one side and the porch enclosed. The first owner was Mrs. Amanda Thatcher; subsequent occupants have included Mr. Roy St. Lewis, a U.S. district attorney, Mr. John W. Mee, an attorney, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Oklah, who moved into the home in 1976.
