History
This unusual home was the first on the block, constructed in 1917 by an unknown developer. The design is an intriguing combination of Mission style and bungalow, with low, horizontal lines, the stucco finish of Mission, and the exposed rafter tails, liberal use of windows, and open floor plan of the popular bungalow. The first two residents were Mr. Edward J. Baumbach, owner and operator of the City Plumbing Company, and Mr. Clarence H. Wright, president of the Wright Ready-to-Wear Stores in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
