History

In 1928, a full ten years after the first house had been constructed on the block, this two-story brick home was built with features of the English Cottage architectural style. Distinguishing elements of design include the decorative chimney, gabled roof, and arched window.

During the 1950s the home was converted to a duplex, with one unit downstairs, the other upstairs. The basement, which had been a club room, was converted to an efficiency apartment.
