Anchoring the east end of the block is this English manor-style home, a relative latecomer built in 1939. It was designed for Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Stone. In the city directory, Mr. Stone's occupation was listed only as "investments." After his death in 1951, his widow and son remained in the home until the son's death in 1963. The house then sat vacant for thirteen years.

Much of the damage was repaired by Dr. and Mrs. Marvin Peyton, who enlarged and remodeled the kitchen, then started a general remodeling. It was later finished by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tinney who moved into the home in 1971.
