Other than their neighbors the Howells, the Braniffs lived on a street of vacant lots for many years. This lot across the street remained vacant until 1924, when Mr. and Mrs. George W. Pierson built a two-story brick home. Reflecting new trends in architecture, the exterior includes elements of the Gothic half-timbered look.
