More typical of the street is this Colonial Revival gem started in December of 1918. A unique feature is the entryway, a full entablature supported by classical pilasters and topped by an arch. The house sold in September of 1919 to Mr. and Mrs. Kuby Jacobs, who remained until 1961. Their daughter, Edith, became a well-known English and debate teacher at Harding High School. In 1975 the home was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Irving L. Faught, who added a bathroom downstairs, built a pool and deck, and added new solid mahogany wainscot and molding.
