This large bungalow was started by Nichols and Chandler in April of 1918 with a building permit for $6,000. The front of the home, unusually balanced for a bungalow, is visually dominated by the oversized gable above the porch.

Even before completion, it was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Leitnaker.

He was vice president of Southwest National Bank in 1920 and owner of the Phonograph Shop in 1922. In 1972 the home was purchased by Mr. Earl E. Hearn, an engineer.
