This home was constructed in 1918 and sold to Mr. Alfred Barber, vice president of the Old Colony Petroleum Company. Built at a cost of $5,500, the home included a variety of architectural features, combining a Colonial Revival floor plan and brick exterior with the lines of a bungalow and the red tiled roof of Mission style. From 1950 to 1969, it was occupied by Mr. John B. Klein, whose parents owned the old Robberson Steel Company.
