History
In each of his developments, from Harndale and Gatewood to Lincoln Terrace and Nichols Hills, Nichols usually included a few homes distinguished by the popular Southwestern styles. Here, on one of the three exhibition homes built in 1926, he and his architects created a simple, understated Mission home with a pale yellow, stucco finish, arched porch supports, central tower, and unique entryway. The model home was sold to Mr. Gordon D. Stater, an attorney.
