Half timbered detailing is shown here where Nichols’s crews used a typically Gothic arrangement of different sized Gables to create the Elizabethan look gaining popularity. Although the basic floor plan was his tried and true colonial revival layout, the Stapley pitched roof, arch doorway, and stucco finish provided the impression of contemporary style.
